The Origin

I started Checklist Apparel in 2024 because the brands I wanted to buy from kept letting me down. A great design would catch my eye online, the order would go in, and three weeks later — sometimes longer — it still wouldn't have arrived. Sometimes it never did. The design and the customer felt like afterthoughts in someone else's supply chain.

A graphic tee is one of the most personal things you can put on. You can walk down the street without saying a word, and the shirt on your back can say more than a ten-minute conversation. I wanted that piece of self-expression to be worth the wait — and worth wearing for years.

So I learned. I taught myself design. I learned how a business actually runs. I sourced suppliers until I found a fabric that could carry a print without falling apart.

Why "Checklist"

The name came from a notepad. When I started building this brand, I wrote down every single thing I needed to figure out — the product, the fabric, the print, the website, the photos, the packaging. Every line was a problem to solve. I worked through it one item at a time, putting checkmarks down only when something met the standard.

The very last item on that list was the brand name itself. I was stuck. And then I looked at the notepad in my hand — the list I'd been crossing off for weeks — and the name was already there.

Checklist Apparel was named the way it was built. One item at a time. Each crossed off only when it met the bar.

The Standard

That discipline is the brand. Every piece we release passes through the same checklist that named it.

The fabric is ultra-heavyweight 250 gsm ring spun cotton — combed for smoothness, constructed for durability. Every tee is built with a drop-shoulder cut, taped neck, double-needle cover stitch, and a tear-away label. The result is a piece that holds its shape, its print, and its colour through repeated wear and wash.

Most graphic tees fade. They shrink. They lose their print after a handful of wears. We've worn them. We've moved on.

For You

Every piece is built for the person walking down the street without saying a word — the one whose shirt does the talking. If that's you, you're in the right place.

If it doesn't hold up, it doesn't ship. Every box checked.
